Gloveprint Analysis
Gloveprint Analysis is a forensic investigative tool used to identify and compare fingerprints from gloves. This technique measures the surface area and fine details of the ridges and other characteristics to create a unique digital image. The image is then compared to a database of known gloveprints to identify an individual suspect. This technique is useful in criminal investigations involving suspects wearing gloves, such as in burglary cases. Gloveprint Analysis can be used to accurately and quickly identify suspects, linking them to specific crimes.
