Forensic Serology

Forensic serology is the study of biological fluids and their relevance to legal circumstances. It involves the analysis of blood, semen, saliva, sweat, vaginal fluid, and other body fluids. Forensic serology is used to compile evidence for use in criminal investigations and trials. Through microscopic examination and advanced testing, forensic serologists compare and identify the biological fluids found at the crime scene to help link suspects with victims. It can also be used to rule out suspects if their biological profile does not match that found at the scene. Forensic serology is a crucial tool used by criminal investigators and forensic scientists to bring justice to victims and provide closure to their families.
