Forensic Podiatry
Forensic Podiatry is a branch of forensic science that deals with the analysis of feet and footwear in criminal investigations. It is used to analyse the shape, size, and other characteristics of footprints, shoe prints, and shoes to link a person to a particular crime scene. By analysing and comparing the data collected from crime scenes with that collected from suspects, forensic podiatrists can help law enforcement identify perpetrators of crimes. They also help in solving cases of missing children, unattended deaths, and identifying victims of disaster. Forensic podiatry is an important tool in the criminal justice system, providing valuable and reliable evidence that helps the police apprehend criminals and bring them to justice.
