Environmental Forensics

Environmental forensics is a scientific discipline that employs various analytical techniques to investigate and trace the source of pollutants found in the environment. It can be used to identify responsible parties and to determine the extent of their liability. Additionally, the information gathered through this method can be utilized to plan a remediation process, if necessary, to reduce the risk of future contamination. Environmental forensics is an important tool for protecting the environment and limiting the potential for future environmental liabilities. It can also be used to better understand the environmental impacts of industry and to develop potential solutions for regulatory compliance.
