Data Carving and Recovery
Data Carving and Recovery is a computer forensics technique used to extract valuable data from a corrupted or damaged digital device. It is done by searching file system content and manually decrypting, reconstructing and extracting bits of data from computer memory or storage media. Data Carving and Recovery is important and useful as it can recover lost or deleted images, documents, videos and other multimedia files.
