Scraping Cytology

Scraping cytology is a laboratory test used to diagnose infections and diseases of the urinary tract. The procedure involves taking a sample of cells from the lining of the urinary tract and examining them under a microscope. It can help diagnose infections of the bladder, urethra and kidneys. It can also detect the presence of abnormal cells or tumors, which could indicate the presence of cancer. Scraping cytology can be used to detect early stages of urinary tract diseases and can aid in the effective treatment of these infections and diseases. Additionally, this type of test is also useful for monitoring the progression of treatment and any changes in the cells.
