Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescence is a laboratory technique used in medical diagnosis or scientific research. It is used to detect the presence of antigens or antibodies in a sample. In this technique, a sample containing the antigen or antibody of interest is treated with fluorescently labeled antibodies that bind specifically to the antigen or antibody. It can be applied to various cells, tissues, or other substances from a patient or organism. Results from immunofluorescence help to diagnose and identify diseases, determine the efficacy of treatments, and understand the underlying mechanisms of disease and its associated processes. Immunofluorescence is a powerful and reliable tool for understanding the role of antigens and antibodies in various biological processes and in medical diagnosis.
