Cell Physiology
Cell physiology is the study of how cells function, the processes cells use to stay alive and how they interact with the environment. It examines the physiological properties, metabolic activities, and signaling pathways that underlie basic activities of a living cell. Understanding how cells interact with their environment is essential for understanding how the body works and for developing new treatments for diseases. Cell physiology plays an important role in various medical fields, such as cancer research, immunology, neurology, and genetics. The knowledge gained from cell physiology can also be applied to engineering, agriculture, and biotechnology.
