ADHD Management
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects children, adolescents and adults. It is characterized by difficulty in paying attention, hyperactivity and impulsivity, which often cause difficulties in daily life and academic performance. ADHD management is an important part of treating this disorder; the aim is to help individuals function better in their daily lives. Treatment typically includes a combination of medications, psychotherapy, educational interventions, and lifestyle changes. Medication is often used to reduce symptoms of hyperactivity and impulsivity, while psychotherapy, educational interventions and lifestyle changes promote self-regulation and help individuals learn to manage daily life tasks. With appropriate management, individuals with ADHD can reach their full potential and lead successful, productive lives.
