Adhd Inattentiveness
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurological disorder that affects millions of children and adults, causing difficulty with inattentiveness, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Without proper treatment, those affected may experience behavioral, academic, and social challenges. ADHD inattentiveness can include difficulty sustaining attention, difficulty focusing on important information, not listening when spoken to, and easily becoming distracted. ADHD has been linked to an imbalance of neurotransmitters in the brain, particularly dopamine and norepinephrine. Through proper diagnosis and treatment, many individuals can lead successful lives and experience improved relationships, social functioning, and academic success. Treatment for ADHD inattentiveness may involve medications such as stimulants and non-stimulants, psychotherapy, lifestyle modifications, and behavior modification.
