Substance-related Disorders
Substance-related Disorders are a group of mental health conditions which involve the misuse of drugs or other substances. These disorders can manifest as addictions, substance use disorders, or intoxications. Substance misuse can lead to significant impairment in various areas of an individual’s life and have far-reaching consequences. Substance-related Disorders can be treated successfully with the right combination of therapies and medications, and early diagnosis and intervention can significantly reduce the risks of long-term harm.
