Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis is a condition where the spinal canal narrows, compressing the spinal cord and nerve roots. It can cause pain, numbness and tingling in the lower extremities, and may even lead to paralysis. This condition can be treated with nonsurgical methods or surgery, depending on the severity. In its milder forms, treatments may include physical therapy, exercise, and medications. In more severe cases, surgical approaches such as laminectomy, fusion, or decompression may be recommended. Early diagnosis and treatment of spinal stenosis can help to improve the quality of life for patients who suffer from this condition.
