Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint condition that affects the cartilage of joints, causing pain and stiffness. It is usually found in the hands, feet, hips, and spine. It is the most common form of arthritis and is caused by aging, obesity, injuries, genetics, and certain joint diseases. Osteoarthritis can make everyday activities such as walking or climbing stairs difficult or painful. Treatment typically involves medications, physical therapy, lifestyle changes, and sometimes surgery. By taking preventative measures, such as exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy weight, osteoarthritis can be prevented and managed.
