Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is a health care profession that focuses on helping people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses develop, or recover, the skills they need to perform activities, or occupations, in their daily lives. Occupational therapy helps people live their lives to the fullest potential by using activities and exercises to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Occupational therapists work with people of all ages, from infants to the elderly, as well as individuals with a wide range of physical and mental health problems. With their knowledge of the human body and their understanding of how people perform activities, occupational therapists are able to design treatment plans that help people regain and maintain their ability to work and lead productive lives.
