Narcissistic
Personality Disorder (NPD) Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a mental health disorder that is characterized by an excessive sense of self-importance, an unchecked need for admiration, and a strong sense of entitlement. People who suffer from NPD may lack empathy, be exploitative, and require excessive attention and admiration. NPD can lead to difficulties in interpersonal relationships, contribute to feelings of low self-esteem, and be associated with depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential to managing NPD, and through a combination of psychotherapy, medication, and lifestyle changes, people suffering from it can lead successful and fulfilling lives.
