Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is a type of cancer that occurs in the lungs. It is caused by abnormal growth of cells in the lungs, which can form tumors or spread to other areas of the body. The most common symptoms associated with lung cancer are coughing, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Treatment for lung cancer may involve surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation, depending upon the stage and type of cancer. Early detection and treatment of lung cancer can significantly improve a person’s chances of survival. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and is a major global health problem.
