Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac Rehabilitation is a medically supervised program designed to help patients recover from heart problems and improve their overall cardiovascular health. The program typically involves lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, smoking cessation, stress management and diet changes as well as other treatments as necessary. Cardiac Rehabilitation also helps reduce the risk of recurrent heart problems, improve quality of life, and reduce mortality and hospitalizations. This program provides education and support to help patients make lasting lifestyle changes, making it an effective tool in the preventative management of heart disease.
