Anthropology
Anthropology is the study of humans and their culture in all its diversity. As a science, anthropology seeks to understand human behavior, culture, and history. It looks at how people create and maintain their cultures, how they interact with their environment, and how they interact with each other. It explores how people develop and use symbols, language, and identities, as well as how they process, construct, and interpret their experience. By better understanding human behavior and culture, anthropology can help enhance our appreciation of the unique individual and collective experiences of people, and our knowledge of the complexities of human interactions and societies. Anthropologists’ studies are applied in a wide range of areas, such as public health, human rights, education, communication, and development.
