Amphetamine Addiction

Amphetamine addiction is a type of substance use disorder characterized by an increased dependency on amphetamines, an addictive drug typically used as a stimulant. Long-term use of the drug leads to a range of adverse effects, such as cardiovascular problems, mental health issues, and serious physical health problems. As a result, those with an amphetamine addiction have difficulty functioning in their daily lives, often leading to reduced productivity, relationship problems, and other life problems. Treatment for amphetamine addiction often includes both psychological and pharmacological therapy, with the goal of breaking the addiction and helping the individual return to a healthier lifestyle.
