Printability

Printability is the ability of a material, such as paper or plastic, to be printed or reproduced with a machine or hand. This quality is significant because it determines how a material can be used in printing, manufacturing, and other processes. Printing is important in a variety of industries, so having printability is a key factor in material selection. For example, packaging materials require printability to add branding, information, and other features. Similarly, printing is often integral to the production of clothing, textiles, books, and many other products. Without printability, materials would be limited in their applications, leading to costly production delays and decreased quality.
