Journal of Addiction Disorder and Rehabilitation

The aim and scope of Journal of Addiction Disorder and Rehabilitation (JADR) is to provide an avenue for researchers and clinicians to disseminate information and new treatments related to addiction and its associated disorders, and to promote and advance research in the area. The journal seeks to publish timely, high-quality and innovative research that advances our understanding of addiction, its associated disorders, and its treatment across a wide range of settings.

Prevention and treatment of substance abuse disorders: This includes interventions to prevent the onset of addiction and evidence-based treatments for individuals who are already struggling with substance use disorders.

Pharmacological and behavioral therapies for addiction: This includes the use of medications to address addiction, as well as behavioral therapies such as cognitivebehavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and contingency management.

Co-occurring mental health conditions and addiction: Many individuals with substance use disorders also struggle with other mental health conditions such as depression or anxiety. This area of research aims to understand the relationship between these conditions and develop effective treatments.

Impact of addiction on individuals, families, and communities: This includes research on the physical, psychological, and social effects of addiction on individuals, as well as the impact on families and communities.

Policy and advocacy related to addiction and rehabilitation: This includes research on the effectiveness of different policy and advocacy approaches to addressing addiction and rehabilitating individuals with substance use disorders.

Addiction in special populations, such as veterans and the elderly: This includes research on the unique challenges faced by certain populations in regards to addiction and rehabilitation.

Emerging trends and research in the field of addiction and rehabilitation: This includes research on new and emerging trends in the field, as well as cutting-edge research methods and technologies.

Quality assurance and accreditation in addiction treatment and rehabilitation: This includes research on the development and implementation of quality assurance and accreditation standards for addiction treatment and rehabilitation programs.

Journal of Addiction Disorder and Rehabilitation(JADR) is devoted to facilitating the exchange of information among addiction researchers and professionals by providing an open access platform for the discussion and exploration of the latest findings. This platform is also intended to serve as a vehicle for collaborative research, inter-disciplinary dialogue, and the sharing of best practices in the field of addiction and its associated disorders.
