Aims and Scope

International Journal of Bone and Mineral Metabolism provides a forum for researchers and clinicians to present and discuss relevant issues in bone and mineral metabolism. The ultimate objective of the journal is the advancement of the research of bone, muscle, and mineral metabolism as well as human health by providing the space for ensuring and exchanging updated information among researchers, members, and other international societies

IJBM publishes the recent improvements and developments in the field of bone and mineral in the form of Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials.

Publishes original research papers and review articles devoted to the understanding of the metabolic processes at the cellular and molecular levels, which are relevant to bone and mineral metabolic health. The journal strives to serve as a platform for researchers to publish the latest results and discoveries in the field of bone and mineral metabolism, as well as to promote the development of new research directions.

The journal publishes a broad range of topics, including the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases related to calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D metabolism, osteoporosis and other skeletal diseases, metabolic bone diseases, mineralization abnormalities, mineral homeostasis and its regulation, metabolic bone markers and their use in clinical practice, and the roles of endocrine organs, hormones and growth factors in the regulation of mineral metabolism. The journal also covers clinical advances in the management and treatment of metabolic bone diseases along with translational, population and epidemiological studies.

The International Journal of Bone and Mineral Metabolism is an essential resource for scientists, physicians, and all health care professionals involved in research, diagnosis and treatment of metabolic bone and mineral disorders. The objective of the journal is to provide readers with the latest research findings and to inspire further research in this important field.

IJBM aims to keep readers informed of the latest advances in bone and mineral metabolism, to stimulate further research and to provide new perspectives on the field. The journal looks forward to receiving submissions from researchers of all disciplines who are interested in contributing to the understanding of this field and to helping improve the quality of life of patients with metabolic bone and mineral disorders.
